Tyler Durden 2020 Bumper Sticker Fight Club

We came up with this bumper sticker in response to the sheer absurdity we are experiencing in light of this upcoming election.

With everything that is going on, I figured we may just as well elect Tyler Durden to the White House. But what started off as a social commentary and marketing gimmick, may just hold a bit of wisdom...

Our intention is not to dissuade people from #voting or to say that their vote doesn't matter. We encourage everyone to use their freedom to vote (or not) for whomever they choose.

However, one thing to consider is how much importance we as a society tend to place on others. People seem to believe, “If we can just have [ your person of choice] in charge, then everything will be better”...“They'll turn this thing around for sure.”

But this is a really misguided stance. It places the onus of our situation squarely on someone or something else, relieving us of all personal responsibility. Not to say that elected officials have no bearing on the world. Certainly, they do.

But so do we.

And too often, we look to others to change things for the better, not realizing that power rests with us individually.

Regardless of who is put in office this year, the world will keep turning and life will go on. How it continues to do so is entirely up to us.

We are masters and commanders of our own destiny. We create the world we live in by how we choose to interact with it.

There is no way to legislate “goodness”. Bad things will always exist in the world, no matter who we elect. But we as individuals have the ability to impact and influence others in a positive way.
(And no, I don't mean arguing in the comment section on Reddit.)

We change the world with how we engage with others. In person, everyday.

We are Jack's sense of self-accountability...

No Fear. No Distractions. The ability to let that which does not matter, truly slide.

I absolutely love this😀👍. It’s so true. I would also add, we make the world we want by the people we place into our inner circle. Some people are more interested in what someone on social media says about them and they aren’t focusing of what is right in front of them (which is where is matters). When we become adults, we are responsible for the life we create. Life is about balance, we need warriors and we need fighters….But we also need a “rabbi” of sorts, in our lives. We need skill to grow and to help others in our community. But there are also things in life we should value besides just skill. Things like kindness, empathy, compassion….and beauty😀. All these things are essential to a balanced person and society. I would hope I am creating this for myself and my family🙏.

Anyhow, good article😀🇺🇸. Deep thinking is good for the soul.
